Bu nedenle <em><strong>\/home<\/strong><\/em> alan\u0131 shrink edildikten sonra bo\u015fa \u00e7\u0131kan alan\u0131 ROOT&#8217;a aktarmak gerekiyor. Bunu \u015f\u00f6yle yap\u0131yoruz;<\/p>\n<p><strong>1- backup the contents of \/home<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>tar -czvf \/root\/home.tgz -C \/home<\/p>\n<p><strong>2- test the backup<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>tar -tvf \/root\/home.tgz<\/p>\n<p><strong>3- unmount home<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>umount \/dev\/mapper\/centos-home<\/p>\n<p><strong>4- remove the home logical volume<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>lvremove \/dev\/mapper\/centos-home<\/p>\n<p><strong>5- recreate a new 400GB logical volume for \/home, format and mount it<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>lvcreate -L 400GB -n home centos<br \/>\nmkfs.xfs \/dev\/centos\/home<br \/>\nmount \/dev\/mapper\/centos-home<\/p>\n<p><strong>6- extend your \/root volume with ALL of the remaining space and resize (-r) the file system while doing so<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>lvextend -r -l +100%FREE \/dev\/mapper\/centos-root<\/p>\n<p><strong>7- restore your backup<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>tar -xzvf \/root\/home.tgz -C \/home<\/p>\n<p><strong>8- check \/etc\/fstab for any mapping of \/home volume. IF it is using UUID you should update the UUID portion.
